Our crossheads have compact design and are very easy to handle and quick to assemble.

Description

Our Crosshead ECH 12/16 OF main applications include optical fiber loose tube and tight buffering.

Excellent concentricity can be achieved with this fixed centred head.

The distributor of this head is conical shaped. An additional radial disk type distributor is used in case the head is configured to do also striping. For single layer extrusion, a dummy distributor replaces the distributor for striping. The entry for the striping extruder is on top of the head.

The high performance and user friendliness of the head are achieved by combining smart design, close tolerances on all parts and unique distributor geometry.
