Description

Our Dual Crosshead ECH 4/6 FS main applications include insulation of telecommunication and data cable conductors as well as electronic and special wires.

A fixed or manual die centring system can be easily selected by just changing one part in the head. Excellent concentricity, that meets most specifications, can be achieved in fixed centring mode. Manual centring mode is only required for some specific applications with extreme tight concentricity tolerances.

The head configuration allows dual layer extrusion of products such as foam/skin, insulation/skin or insulation/striping.

Single layer products with solid or foam insulation can be produced using a dummy outer layer distributor.

The main distributor of this head is conical shaped. A disk type radial distributor is utilised for the outer layer.

The high performance and user friendliness of the head are achieved by combining smart design, close tolerances on all parts and unique geometry for each distributor.
