We master the flow characteristics of our extrusion heads which are designed by our engineers, built in our shop and proven over time.
Our double layer ECH 25/45 is perfect for extrusion of single and double layers. It is also available with a stripe option. Flow distribution is optimized for PE materials. The dimensioning of the flow channels ensures exact thickness for each of the pipe's layers.
This transversal head is centered manually. The extruder connections are available with or without manual bypasses. The head itself is held by a swivel arm fixed to the extruder or onto a support frame fixed to a trolley. This allows easy access for cleaning and tooling changes once the head is disconnected from the extruders.
Three independently controlled heating zones maintain the head's temperature. The total heating capacity is 3.7 kW. The approximate weight is 73 kg.
