Our single layer ECH 65 SL is perfect for extrusion of heating pipe and special engineering tubes. Flow distribution is optimized for PEX materials. The dimensioning of the flow channels ensures exact thickness for the pipe's layer.
This longitudinal head is centered manually on the die. The main extruder connection is available with or without a manual bypass. The head itself is held by a swivel arm fixed to the extruder or onto a support frame fixed to a trolley. This allows easy access for cleaning and tooling changes once the head is disconnected from the extruder.
Three independently controlled heating zones maintain the head's temperature. The total heating capacity is 6.3 kW. The approximate weight is 50 kg.
