We master the flow characteristics of our extrusion heads which are designed by our engineers, built in our shop and proven over time.
Our multi-layer MC 8-24 is perfect for extrusion of one up to three layers, where each layer has a function. It is also available with a stripe option. Flow distribution is optimized for PA, PBT, EVOH, PVDF, ETFFE, THV, Si/PE, HDPE and ADH materials. The dimensioning of the flow channels ensures exact thickness for each of the pipe's layers.
This transversal head is centered manually. The extruder connections are available with or without manual bypasses. The head itself is held onto a support frame fixed to a trolley. This allows easy access for cleaning and tooling changes once the head is disconnected from the extruders.
Four independently controlled heating zones maintain the head's temperature. The total heating capacity is 3.91 kW. The approximate weight is 100 kg.
