Accurate and stable centering, high cable quality

Our crossheads for rubber cables have compact design and efficient cooling channels. They are very easy to handle and quick to assemble. Advanced technologies for cable type change are available.

Description

Our Single Crosshead NHW 100 is used for a one layer extrusion of LV and MV rubber cables.

The dimensioning of the flow channels ensures exact thickness of each layer. The centring can be adjusted with four centring screws. The gap between the inner layer tip and the die can be longitudinally adjusted. This feature improves the extrusion of various rubber materials regardless of different production speeds. An independently controlled fluid circulation unit is used for temperature control of the crosshead.

In addition to single layer extrusion, the head can be used for striping or skin extrusion. The material flow from an auxiliary extruder is added to the main layer through a striping or skin extrusion distributor. For single layer extrusion, a dummy distributor replaces the distributor for striping or skin extrusion.

The delivery includes a basic crosshead for rubber materials.
