net;ns.;tio;olu;ons;usi;xtr;y/e;troThe Splice Box SB 150 give easy and ergonomic access to prepare the crosshead and cable for production before the curing tube is pressurised. The same applies when production is stoped and the preassure needs to be released from the curing tube.
The splice box consists of a steel frame, movable and fixed tubes, a sealing tube and electrical transfer equipment. The opening and closing of the splice box is achieved by push-buttons on the N2P control box.
The basic machine consists of a frame, a movable tube, a shifter mechanism for the movable tube and heat insulation for the movable tube.
The frame of the splice box is the fixing point of the whole CCV line and must be fastened properly to the floor construction according to given forces.
Fixed tube
The fixed tube of the splice box is equipped with a gas circulation pipe point. The size of the flange, which is connected to the CV tube, is selected according to the CV tube. The tube is insulated from the cold, in order to reduce the amount of by-product.
Base of splice box for CCV line
In a CCV line, the base of the splice box is fastened to the extruder platform and the angle of the splice box can be adjusted depending on the catenary factor of the line.
Heat insulation of splice box
The movable tube of the splice box is equipped with an internal heat insulated protection tube. The external part of the fixed tube is heat insulated as well.
N2P control box
The N2P control box is located on the frame of the slice box and includes a pressure sensor, a manometer, a 0-pressure switch and push buttons for opening/closing the splice box.
Energy supply chain for X-ray
The energy supply chain is used to protect X-ray cables and hoses while moving the telescope. The chain and the support are located beside the splice box.
