Do you need to study a polymer's processability? Or try another extrusion screw or a different size machine?
Maillefer test extruders are an easy and safe way to develop your extrusion with your own materials and different screws. We have three dedicated machines for tests, as well as possible stock extruders undergoing approval tests.
Three dedicated MXC extruders compose the pilot test capability that we have readily available at our Swiss facility. Reserve for bleed tests, screw & barrel choice, profile optimization and more.
Choose from either the MXC 80-30D, 60-30D and 45-24D extruders with available tooling. The later machine is specially equipped with temperature gauges along the full barrel length.
Whether you want to test PVC, PE, PEX, PA, TPU or new formulations we have a configuration that will suit your trial needs.
We prepare the extruder configuration for you. Our specialists will guide you throughout the trials, which typically lasts 1 to 3 days in your presence. Recommendation and consultation for but not limited to:
